This weekly exercise group will meet each Wednesday, October 9th through December 4th, from 6:30-7:30pm for a 5 minute devotion, followed by a "Couch to 5K" walking/running program. We'll meet in the parking lot of Light of Christ United Methodist Church, where we'll begin with a brief devotion by our Pastor, and then we'll hit the road. Love to run with your dog, but want to meet new people at the same time? We are excited to meet with other local active dog owners who are interested in running with their dog for general fitness or to lose a couple extra pounds. Runners of all levels are welcome. The group will be led by Dogtopia of Charlotte, but we always welcome guest experts like dog trainers, vets, and exercise experts.
Join the NOXcuses fit squad every Saturday and Sunday at 8am for a power run of hills steps and distance in Cordelia park this is a power run that last about 40 min. The group consist of runners of all fitness levels so there's no competition it's just all about the finish as you'll burn more calories than a traditional run for the same time spent because of the terrain

"Slow and Steady wins the race" The Tortoise from Aesops Fables The Tortoise and the Hare. A running group for people who run 9.5 to 11.5 minute pace with occassional walk breaks. Interested in running during the day (between 9am and 2pm) in the Myers Park area. All ages, male or female. Let's pick a day and time to get started. Maybe expand into more days. Maybe train for half marathon, but generally 3-6 mile runs.
