Running in a group is one of the best ways to knock out those long runs while training for a marathon. We'll start with some easy mileage and work our way up to a fall marathon. We will do some easy 2 mile maintenance runs until about April. From April until October we will begin upping the mileage until we are ready to run a fall marathon!

Want to run a 5k? C25K is a great program that takes you from the couch to running a 5k in 9 weeks. We will meet 3 evenings a week in Fuquay. We will be starting this together so it doesn't matter how out of shape you are. We will be starting the program May 27th at 6:30. Our goal will be to complete the program and sign up for a local 5K and run it as a team. If you think this will be too hard for you, then you are probably wrong. It starts out really slow and easy.
